The Dash: A hate-hate relationship

It didn’t start well. After the initial funding closed I instantly regretted having spent nearly $200 (now $299) on a paid of wireless headphones I don’t know why I needed. Still, I’m curious about wearable technology and want to support new products.

I bought an apple watch and I love it

At the beginning of this month I headed over to New York. Broken leg and all. On my last day, I finally gave into the temptation of the Apple Store and made the decision to buy an Apple Watch. Sure the next generation will be out sometime soon but a week on, I’m really happy I did.

The constant question: What is agile?

You start with a building a wooden hut. A single room, but with a roof and an entrance. It’s enough to provide shelter and warmth for you. You can cook, sleep, gather and can reference it in the landscape.

Writing vs typing

As I took notes down on a Google Adwords course I was making my way through, it suddenly dawned on me that if I wanted to share any of them, I was going to need to retype all my notes into some form of easily shareable format. Double the effort, double the time, a positive learning experience turned into a negative and arduous task.

Social for the freelancer

The more I get out and about, the more I realise that so many people are still not aware of the power of being Social.

I say social because, for me, it isn’t just about Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc. It’s about being really social. There’s a lot to be said for taking the time and getting out there, talking to people face to face.

I have a dream

That one day you’ll hold your phone and it will know how you feel. It will sync with your friends and all your calendars. If you’re feeling low, it will find something to pick you up. As well as inviting friends along to enjoy this with.
