I’ve been so tired but not being able to do things has had me thinking about the things I want to do.
I definitely don’t want to pack everything in and go traveling. I have no intention of running marathon. And, I really over the few years I’ve already managed to achieve quite a huge amount and ticked many things that are still on many people’s lists.
Ever changing
I don’t believe a list should be too fixed. After all, minds change, opportunities arise and new things develop. The list therefore needs to be flexible, open and allowed to expand and shrink as needed.
Finding inspiration
I’ll admit to starting with a bit of help. Some sites help you with some prompts such as “What if you were to die tomorrow?” or “What would you do if you had unlimited time, money and resources?” to “Are there any special moments you want to witness?” . There’s even an app for that.
On to the first 5
-
See the Northern Lights
: a natural wonder that is being changed by global warming. You might be able to see them in Newcastle now, but the real way to experience them is to go to Iceland or a far north island.
-
Go to Everest Base Camp
: I actually had planned to do that this year as part of a fancy yoga holiday. It’ll be a bit delayed now and i don’t have any desire to climb to the top of the mountain. But I think there’s something quite special about getting to the bottom of it.
-
Visit Brazil during the Carnival
: Life. Music. Sunshine. It would be amazing to go during the Olympics.
-
Ride a Grand Prix dressage horse
: Horses play a big part in my life. I’m breeding my mare currently so who knows, maybe this offspring will be good enough (and I’ll be able to get it there) to complete this item by myself.
-
Drive a dog sled
: I really not a massive fan of skiing (current experiences haven’t been the best) but I would love to just have a huge expanse of snow and to just not have a care in the world for a bit.
Item 5. is interesting, but why not make reindeer ride? At the Arctic Circle in Finland, it is possible. In addition, there You could meet Santa. 🙂

Have a nice day!

I think it’s the thrill of the dog sled although I wouldn’t say no to a reindeer drawn carriage if it came along.
