If Sunday’s were meant for roasts, then Saturday’s are most definitely made for brunching.
Stick or twist
There’s something about a brunch. It’s that wonderful meal that means you can enjoy anything from poached eggs on toast with avocado to waffles smothered with melted chocolate and berries to truffled mac & cheese. Yep, anything goes.
It’s such a happy meal as well. We’re happy to queue for it. We either have our standard choices. Or we’re debating how to decide between a Full English or Eggs Benedict.
It’s also great to relax and take Saturdays with the same gentle pace we treat our Sunday’s. The alarm didn’t need to go off. There’s no rush to get anywhere and we’re going to sit all afternoon nibbling away over a good catch up with friends.

If there could only be one meal a day. I think for me, I’d be happy to have brunch any day of the week.
